The ASAP-BC team has a 2018 goal to implement a Hub to support those in recovery and their families. Having learned the importance of the community defining and owning such an enterprise, the Hub team is planning a number of small community gatherings. The team’s objective is to find people who want to implement a Hub and hear how they would like to help. It’s also a chance to inform the community and create an opportunity for dialogue.
As an outcome of the meetings we received cards from participants expressing interest in volunteering in the following areas. We will use this input as part of funding requests for paid staff to coordinate volunteers.
