The Proactive Role Employers Can Take: Opioids in the Workplace

Columbus, IN – On Thursday, August 16th, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, Marla Satterfield, Manager of Human Resources for Our Hospice, will be providing a lunch and learn for employers entitled, “The Proactive Role Employers Can Take: Opioids in the Workplace” at Mill Race Center, located at 900 Lindsey St, in Columbus, IN.

While the session is geared for temporary staffing agencies, any employer is welcome to attend.

Ms. Satterfield has been in the human resource field for over 30 years with most of her experience in the manufacturing sector. A University of Indianapolis graduate, she is a native of Columbus and is eager to share her knowledge with others. She is a member of the Alliance for Substance Abuse Progress (ASAP) Prevention Team. Participants will be provided with a toolkit to guide policy and practice in their own organizations.

The program and lunch are free but pre-registration is requested in order to ensure sufficient materials are available. Please pre-register by sending your name and the number of people attending from your organization to mneville@asapbc.org no later than August 14th.
