Columbus, IN – On Thursday, September 27th, from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM, Addictionologist Dr. Teddy Saddoris, will share her expertise regarding relapse prevention and management for Substance Use Disorder at Mill Race Center, located at 900 Lindsey St, in Columbus, IN.
Dr. Saddoris will discuss the chronic disease of Substance Use Disorder, and the unfortunate predictable part of the disease, relapse. With help identifying triggers and learning how to cope with stressful situations, those with Substance Use Disorders can limit relapse and shorten the duration. Dr. Saddoris will discuss the life-long commitment to recovery as those suffering continue to seek support and insight on how to deal with triggers and cravings in everyday situations.
This educational session is intended for those in recovery and for parents and others who care for someone with Substance Use Disorder.
The program is free and open to the public.
